We're FREE to use!

Our services are free to use. So whether you enroll in health insurance yourself or use our help, the cost of insurance is the same.

Q.

What do you charge for helping people sign up for health insurance?

A.

$0, nothing, nada, zip, zero. That's right! Our service to you is free!

Q.

I changed jobs this year and my new job doesn't offer health insurance. What options do I have for my family?

A.

A local agent can review your options with you. Depending on your needs, we can show you options on the Marketplace (aka Obamacare), private health insurance, Medicare, dental, vision and other supplemental insurance that can help you cover some of your medical costs.

Q.

What are subsidies and do I need to pay them back?

A.

Subsidies is the help you get to pay for your monthly premium on a Marketplace plan. These plans are also known as Obamacare, healthcare.gov and subsidized plans. The amount of subsidies you get is based on your household size, income, and zip code and the federal poverty line. If your household makes less than 400% above the federal poverty line, you'll qualify for subsidies. This may seem confusing, but we can make it really easy. Give us a call or schedule an appointment today.

Just for reference, a family of 4 that makes less than $104,000 a year can qualify for subsidies.

Q.

How long does it take to get a quote for health insurance?

A.

Usually we can get a quote same day. Sometimes during open enrollment, our calendar is full so we may need to schedule a time to get quotes another day. If it's important that we get back to you at a certain time, please let us know and one of our local agents will do their best to accommodate you.

Q.

What if I have a medical condition that requires medication and seeing multiple doctors. Can I get health insurance that covers that?

A.

Yes. We have many options that will cover your pre-existing conditions, on going treatments and doctor visits right away. Every health insurance company chooses to cover conditions at different levels. When you contact one of our local agents we can research doctor visit costs, prescription costs and even if a surgery would be covered before you sign up for a plan so you know what to expect throughout the year.

Q.

What type of insurance do you offer?

A.

We can help you with health insurance like Marketplace plans, Medicare, private health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, accident insurance, cancer insurance and much more.

Q.

I just got divorced and need to make sure my children still have insurance. Can I keep my children on my insurance even though they don't live with me full time?

A.

Marketplace subsides generally follow how you file your taxes. So, in general, if you claim someone in your taxable household you get subsidies for them as well. We can still get health insurance for children you do not claim, but it may cost a little bit more. Our local agents can review your situation to see how we can get the best price on health insurance for your family.

Q.

My parents are not citizens, but still need health insurance. What documentation do you need to get health insurance?

A.

We have many options for health insurance including subsidized Marketplace plans and private health insurance available to non-citizens. Usually only one form of documentation is needed to apply. Documentation options include green cards, social security card, tax id number or ITIN, passport, birth certificate, Visa, DACA status and many other forms of identification. If you're not sure if you'd qualify, please contact us and we'd be happy to answer any questions. FYI, Julie can speak Spanish if that's easier for you.
