Big news in the health insurance world: Aetna has announced they are leaving the Marketplace (healthcare.gov) for the 2026 plan year. They are leaving Utah and every other state they offered plans in 2025.
If you’re currently insured through Aetna and you’re a client of ours, here’s the most important thing to know:✅ Your 2025 Aetna plan is still active and you are not losing your coverage right now. You can continue to use your Aetna health plan, see your doctors, and fill your prescriptions through the end of this year.
When fall open enrollment arrives, we will personally help you find a new plan for 2026 that fits your needs. Our agents will compare benefits, rates, doctor networks, and drug formularies to make sure you transition smoothly.
If you’re not yet a client, now is a great time to connect with us.
We can:
✔️ Review your current doctors and prescriptions
✔️ Put you on our priority list
✔️ Notify you as soon as 2026 plans, rates, and networks are released
With so much changing, it’s smart to have a local health insurance agent in your corner. At Utah Avenue Insurance, Better coverage starts here — and we’re ready to help.
