Now with an expanded list of preventive care covered at 100%, seeing your doctor won't cost you. 100% coverage means no copay, coinsurance or deductible. Most plans, over 90% of them, include the expanded list of free preventive care. Laboratory tests, procedures, exams, counseling, immunizations, contraception, breast feeding supplies and obstetrical services are included in the free preventive care list.
This means you will no longer have to pay for regular blood work or lab tests like cholesterol screenings, thyroid tests, or any general health panel. Mammograms and colon cancer screenings are also covered on the expanded list.
